I was always told never to talk about politics or religion as we all have our own strong beliefs but with the arrival of my voting card I thought my little voice might open a few minds.
The hindrance of Brexit has been looming over this country for the past 3 years, I know you are probably fed up with hearing about it as I am but heres a little food for thought.
Im embarrassed to call myself British with such indecisive decision, with politicians only worried about lining their pockets and being seen to say the right thing as you probably are too!
Before we put the blame at the Tories door, as they are the party running the Country, we should understand in basic layman’s terms why our country is in such bad shape. The Tony Blair dynasty was a huge turning point in this countries demise, for all that he seemed to be the wise kid on the block with his confidant stature and 2 terms in office, this was enough for our countries deficit to rise uncontrollably with the only person getting rich off the back of it all was in fact Tony and sherry Blair. It’s not surprising that the country had, had enough and voted him out only to have Gordon Brown take his place and eventually David Cameron the leader of the the Tory party at the time. The Tories were left a huge mountain they had to climb, this saw cuts in policing, NHS and closures of many public amenities all in an advent to try to curb our countries huge deficit. Over Tony Blairs terms in office, corruption grew enormously within our NHS service with the infrastructure allowing huge payouts to medical professionals – In all, Thank you Mr. Tony Blair!
Tony Blair was replaced by Gordon Brown who wasn’t much better with his bigoted remarks and after a period lost his seating in a general election to The Tories. David Cameron’s huge uphill battle to lead this country with its enormous deficits left him no choice but to call for a referendum. David Cameron was a remainer who stepped down where the helm was picked up by Teressa May who couldn’t deliver and now we have Borris Johnson as Prime Minister . The British people had enough, a referendum was called, the people spoke and elected to leave the European union so why has this not been implemented? we pay approximately 39 Billion a year to the European union a majority goes on wagers for the fat cats to get richer, a little on trade and the rest goes to countries who need better infrastructure etc. As a country, we seem to be dictated to from our legal system through to who we allow in our country all adding to the financial demise of our Country!
Everywhere you look in politics it seems that there are too many do gooders thinking if they say or do the so called correct thing then they will be recognised and their seat in the political society will be affirmed. There are not enough people in government who are not scared to have a voice and stand up for what Britain used to be, once a great Country!
The BBC and other News casters love to pick on a subject which is normally boarder line and elaborate on it by adding arms and legs only to corrupt our thinking and to persecute an individual. I thought the BBC stood for British Broad Casting, if this is the case then why is their head office in Brussles?
I put it to you, our country is a business and should be run as such so why do we have novices who have never run a successful business run our country? You may not like President Trump because of his attitude or the way he deals with things but he’s a hell of a business man and only has his countries best interests at heart, because he sure as hell doesn’t need the income! Like him or loath him, he will get the job done!
I also ask you, how on earth has Jeremy Corbyn been allowed to stand for the Labour party, he’s a terrible dangerous man with links to the IRA! who in their right mind would vote for this man? god help us all if he ever became Prime Minister…and especially those of you who have put your hard earnings into a second property, he will crucify you with extreme taxes.
In a nutshell, us, the British people have been humiliated by all political parties as the world looks on, our country as we have know it is no more and for the sake of whats left, all parties how every costing to their own personal pockets should stand together united to act for what the people voted for, – to leave the European union. Why should we have to pay the EU a penny? people have short memories, we have already paid enough! after the second world war its was Great Britain who went to the banks and borrowed the money to help rebuild others Countries. Standing united will again make our once infamous Country strong again.
Im not a politician but my voice is of the majority, I am tired of seeing what was once a Country to be proud of now the laughingstocks of the world and watching the British people financially struggle daily, whether they are in Business or not, it effects us all! so whom ever you decide to vote for on the 12th December lets just get the job done so we can eventually look to the future and try to put the last 3 years of worry behind us, let us be proud once more and be able to leave something great for the next generation. with all this done we might even be able to save for a rainy day.
It’s long overdue…
