Gumtree Advertising Part 2
Gumtree Advertising
My story Part 2
Good morning my lovely readers, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. As promised, an update on my Gumtree Advertising.
Update
In the letter I sent to Gumtree.com Ltd, I explained the removal of my ad needed to be reinstated as soon as possible because the Holiday season was approaching. Obviously for little people like myself you need to advertise your business.
I understand that in business practice, its correct to offer time for the company to reply within 10 to 14 days, but under my circumstances, I thought I would at the very least have received an acknowledgement of my letter advising me they were looking into my case.
Your right, I have not received anything from Gumtree in relation to my letter however, I have received an email asking me how my ad went and basically asking me to advertise again! Im guessing the right hand doesn’t know what the left had is doing!
If this was sent to someone else who wasn’t on the ball, they would think it would be ok to advertise with them again, place their ad, pay for it upfront and only to have it removed again with no refund!
Gumtree is obviously not taking me seriously and isn’t going to respond to me which I believe is unfair and ignorant! They probably think if they ignore me I will go away as i’m insignificant, a nothing, just a little person with no resources as they are now a huge conglomerate bought out by Ebay some years ago.
Thanks to the little people like myself who put Gumtree on the map and making it an interesting, financially rewarding purchase for Ebay.
Im not surprised the bottom line grew with there no refund behaviour towards people trying to survive.
So the saga continues but I say this to Gumtree, “i’m not going away and will continue in my fight for the resurrection of my unjust Ad removal.
Thanks for reading my post
