The night before Christmas

We have been dashing here and racing there, ticking off our lists as we go

With love we’ve wrapped and hidden our gifts in time for the big show

The vegetables are prepped, the turkey is stuffed and our children are now fast asleep in bed

Quietly we place the presents beneath the magical Christmas Tree and stand back to view with glee

Now with a glass of mulled wine we toast each other and admire the good job we have achieved

it’s now time for us to show our love and to kiss and embrace that special one

Together we snuggle and share a kiss as we cosy up under the Christmas tree

feeling the Christmas magic we find some passion to create a special memory or 2

As we turn and kiss good night, not a sound can be heard as we drift off to sleep this magical night

Now Christmas morning is here and with weary eyes we open to see the magic we have created in our beautiful children’s eyes!
