Chickpeas, are the main ingredient in hummus, they definitely count as one of your five-a-day. The fibre, potassium, B vitamins, iron, magnesium, and selenium in chickpeas all support heart health. Fibre helps decrease the risk of heart disease by lowering cholesterol levels in the blood.
Onions, Most people use onions in home cooking to enhance flavour without a second thought and forgetting that they’re a vegetable that count towards your five-a-day.
Baked beans, Half a tin of baked beans counts as one of your 5 a day. Don’t eat the whole tin as it contains too much salt and sugar but, it’s a great option for a quick meal.

Kiwi fruit has huge benefits, loaded with vitamins C and E, and both of these protect you against cancer and promote eye health. Kiwis are low in calories, and this makes them a perfect meal if you are looking to lose some weight.
Mangoes the immune booster, full of vitamin C and are rich in beta-carotene that the body converts into vitamin A which we need for bone growth and a healthy immune system.
Pomegranate juice, better than green tea. It has two to three times more antioxidants, and it is an excellent source of potassium that regulates your blood pressure. Drink only ¼ cup per day, and you will improve cardiovascular health and lower your.
Tuna, for its part, is a source of high-quality protein with almost no fat. It contains all essential amino acids required by the body for growth and maintenance of lean muscle tissue. It’s like everything in-life, if you do it too much it has consequences and the same applies to eating too much of your chosen healthier option. Heartburn, diarrhoea, reflux, and bloating are all potential side effects of eating too much fruit.
