Men, their socks and my wondering mind

The year is 2016 and a new gentleman client arrives for his appointment, I will call him John. John and I exchange niceties and straight away I can tell he’s a lovely guy, mid-thirties and very polite. I ask him to climb the stairs to my room and all the time we are chatting and smiling.
He pays me for a 30-minute session, and I ask him to remove all his clothes, and when he is ready, lay face down on the towel covered bed so I can begin the massage experience.
Out of respect for my clients, I don’t stand and watch them get undressed. OK you may get the odd glimpse here and there if your engaged in conversation, as I was brought up to look at people when speaking to them. However, I try and make myself busy with lighting candles etc to help make them feel more relaxed.
John is now face down on the bed and my magic hands start to glide up and down his torso, rubbing the area which need a little more attention. Out of the corner of my eye, I can’t help but notice, he’s still wearing his socks. I’m now thinking, that’s strange, maybe he forgot to remove them in his haste to lay down and get started. I carry on massaging, but can’t stop thinking about those socks, and by now, it’s brought a smile to my face.

I’ve moved down to massage his legs, and me being me, with an inquisitive mind thinks, now’s my chance to ask him about his socks.In a nonchalant fashion I ask “oh, you’ve forgotten to take your socks off” trying to make light of the statement. With a smile I might add, John replies “no I haven’t forgotten, I just don’t like feet,” “ok” I reply and carry on with the massage, but all the time I’m chuckling inside and thinking how bizarre that I hadn’t come across this before.

I now see this frequently, probably on a weekly basis, however, I always find myself asking why they’ve left their socks on (that would be my curious mind at work) lol and it always seems to amuse me, if I’m honest, 😊 and always I get the same answer, “I don’t like my feet.”
Now, I’m not as young as I once was, but as a young girl, I remember watching a western movie with my parents, I think it was called “Judge John Been.” Paul Newman was the actor and the character he portrayed always left his cowboy boots on while performing the naughty deed, and when asked why? he would reply, “they give me more traction”. For some reason, when I see my clients leave their socks on, my brain always triggers that scene, which allows me a chuckle inside. Yes, it’s strange, I know, as my clients have only come for a massage, but I can’t help wondering, if a man leaves his socks on for a massage, does he also keep them on when he goes home to do the naughty deed? Lol
Now I’ve gotcha thinking! Lol 😂
