The Heat Was On (Literally)

This wasn’t just a warm night. It was the kind of sticky, sultry heat that clings to your skin like a silk slip one size too small. I’d already peeled off most of my clothes, left with just my knickers and an old tank top that had seen better days. I lay sprawled across the bed like a melted chocolate bar, arms out, legs apart, hair sticking to my forehead, and wondering what exactly I’d done to deserve this humid hell.

It was nearly midnight. My phone screen glowed with useless notifications – no texts from anyone exciting (unless you count that 20% off message from the garden centre). I rolled over, pressed my cheek to the cool side of the pillow, and let my hand trail down to my bedside drawer.

You know the one.

Enter: Dan

There he was. Sleek. Silent. Charging light long since turned off. Dan didn’t judge. He didn’t care if I hadn’t shaved my legs or if I’d eaten my body weight in garlic bread for dinner. He just buzzed into action the second I hit that magic button.

Now, listen—I’m not shy. I believe in celebrating pleasure, especially the kind that doesn’t involve awkward pillow talk or pretending to like someone’s music taste just to get laid. Dan and I? We’ve got a system. We know the routine. He doesn’t talk back, and I don’t fake anything. Win-win.

I slid my hand between my thighs, already slick from heat and anticipation. My breath hitched slightly. Not from nerves. Just… from the thrill. That delicious mix of being alone but not lonely, sexy but unbothered, empowered and aroused in the same breath.

The Power of a Fantasy

Sometimes I close my eyes and imagine a tall, mysterious stranger slipping into my room. Other times, it’s the broody neighbour from across the hall who has a habit of jogging shirtless past my window. Tonight? I imagined Dan as human. Tall, dark, and rechargeable. The kind of man who knows exactly when to press the right buttons (pun very much intended).

I arched a little, let out a quiet laugh, then bit my lip to stifle a moan as Dan worked his magic. Slow at first. Then teasing. Then—bam—right into that rhythm that makes your toes curl and your thoughts scatter like confetti.

Afterglow and Airflow

By the time I reached that sweet, breathless crescendo, I was damp in all the best ways. The fan was still humming lazily, doing absolutely nothing, and I couldn’t have cared less. I tossed Dan onto the pillow beside me like a satisfied lover and stretched like a cat in the sunshine.

“Thanks, love,” I muttered with a grin. “You really do know how to push my buttons.”

I drifted into sleep with a smile on my lips, the kind of smile that says I don’t need no man… unless he comes with batteries.
