Episode 6: Confessions in the Mirror
💋 Dear Readers,
Ready for another late-night laugh with a splash of saucy? In this episode of Sue’s After-Dark Diaries Episode 6: Confessions in the Mirror, we find Sue tangled up in towels, truths, and a very cheeky confession. Mirror, mirror on the wall… who had way too much fun last night with her favourite buzzing companion? Oh yes, this one’s full of giggles, glances, and unexpected guests. Now, where did I leave that towel?
Confessions in the Mirror
There’s a moment in every woman’s life when she locks eyes with her reflection and whispers, “What in the fresh hell happened last night?”
Mine came at 8:42 a.m., perched on the edge of my bed, towel barely clinging to one breast, hair resembling something between a bird’s nest and a failed art installation, and a rather satisfied buzzing toy still shamelessly smirking at me from under the sheets.
Dan.
The trusty, rechargeable, 8-speed orgasm machine with more stamina than any man I’ve dated in the last two years. My battery-operated boyfriend. My ride-or-die, quite literally. And last night? Well, let’s just say Sue’s After-Dark Diaries Episode 6: Confessions in the Mirror was born out of pure, unfiltered chaos.
Let me set the scene…
The Night Before
It started innocently enough. A bit of red wine, a bubble bath with questionable amounts of foam, and me, doing my best “I’m a grown, independent woman who doesn’t need a man” dance in front of the mirror. You know the one. The slightly tipsy sashay with a towel turban, pretending you’re in a Beyoncé music video?
Except instead of Beyoncé, I looked like a tipsy fortune-teller who lost her crystal ball and found a vibrating wand instead.
Dan was there. Sitting on the nightstand. Judging me. Daring me. Flashing that tiny LED like, “You know you want to press me.”
And oh, did I.
Cue: Fireworks.

At first, I went for the usual setting—vibrate, buzz, purr. But somewhere between purr and whale song, I must’ve hit the wrong button because suddenly Dan went into warp speed. I shrieked like I was being exorcised and dropped him onto the floor, where he vibrated under the bed like a tiny poltergeist looking for its dignity.
Recovering from the shock, I eventually retrieved him (after using a slipper as a retrieval tool because no way was I sticking my hand under there like it’s Narnia), and we resumed our “evening of self-discovery.”
Which turned into an hour.
Then two.
Then a very awkward moment where I accidentally activated the pulsing crescendo mode during a deep stretch and nearly pulled a hamstring.

Back to the Present
So there I sat the next morning, towel around my waist, hair stuck to one eyebrow, legs still weak, and staring at myself in the full-length mirror.
“Really, Sue?” I said to the reflection.
She didn’t answer, just raised a judgmental eyebrow as if to say, “You used Setting Nine. Didn’t you? You absolute animal.”
I glanced over at Dan—now motionless, drained of all battery and, no doubt, emotionally spent.
“Sorry, darling,” I muttered. “Didn’t mean to ride you like the last horse out of Dodge.”
Then the doorbell rang.
Oh. Hell. No.
Wrapped in a damp towel and dripping with shame (and a little sweat), I ran to the door expecting a parcel. Instead, it was Mark.
Mark, the flirty guy from upstairs who borrowed my corkscrew last week and never returned it. You know the type—five o’clock shadow, cheeky smile, arms that look like they were sculpted by Michelangelo’s horny cousin.
“Sue,” he grinned, eyes travelling from my wet hair to my loosely tied towel, “Hope I’m not interrupting…”

I blinked. “Define ‘interrupting.’”
He smirked. “You left your window open last night. I heard… sounds.”
I froze. Oh. Sweet. Jesus.
“Must’ve been the TV,” I lied, smiling like a lunatic. “BBC wildlife doc. You know how excitable meerkats get.”
He laughed. “Right. Well, I was just dropping this off.”
He handed me the corkscrew.
“You might need it… for more wine. Or whatever.”
Then, with a wink, he turned and walked away.
Cue Internal Monologue Panic
Window open?
OPEN?!
The moans. The gasps. The one point I screamed “Ride me, Dan, ride me like you mean it!”
He heard it all. ALL OF IT.
I shut the door with the kind of slowness reserved for dramatic movie scenes and turned to face Dan, still lifeless on the nightstand.
“You little traitor,” I hissed.
Later That Day…
With Dan safely recharging (God bless USB ports), I found myself once again in front of the mirror. This time, clothed in my favourite silk robe, mascara smudged but fabulous.
“Sue,” I said to myself, “You’ve done many embarrassing things in life—like accidentally waxing your eyebrow off or texting your boss a meme about orgasms—but this? This tops it.”
But you know what?
I looked good.
I felt good.
And even if the entire building now thinks I’ve got a secret lover named Dan who should probably get a restraining order, I’m not ashamed.
Not one bit.

Final Confession
Dan isn’t just a toy. He’s a lifestyle.
He listens. He vibrates with purpose. He never judges me for watching reruns of Bridgerton while eating cereal in my knickers.
And honestly? After last night, I feel like I should buy him dinner or something. Maybe a thank-you card:
To Dan, for services rendered and hamstrings stretched. Love, Sue.
Until next time, darlings…
Keep your towel tight, your batteries charged, and your windows closed—unless you’re into an audience.
Because in my world, even a reflection in the mirror can’t keep a straight face.
