Unseen and living a lie…

Many of us go through life unseen by others, we wear masks to disguise buried turmoil, hiding our true emotions and the mask becomes our daily coping mechanisms.

From a survey in 2017 more than 34% of the population live alone and since then an additional 292,000 people, an increase of 3.8%  as of August 2019 now live as a one person household here in the UK.

Are you living a lie?

With the way life is today, many of us are living a lie and this commonly goes unseen by most. Probably because more than 8 million people now live alone her in the UK.

We tend to adopt a certain persona as we go to work, it’s our way of showing our colleagues that we are capable, strong, and committed to succeed in our profession.

When socialising with friends, another persona is chosen because we want to show that we are easy going, up for a laugh and fun to be around.

Arriving home and putting your key in the front door, you feel change and confined to your home, you are truly yourself whether you live alone or not.
