What makes a man sexy

Is it his look or is it something else?

Good morning,

What a horrible morning, it’s cold, windy and with miserable grey skies… I really hate grey sky’s they don’t give you the inspiration to get on and do anything. I guess thats part of the English way of life, suck it up and get on with it.

Ok, this is something I’ve been working on for a couple of weeks and I was quite surprised how prospectives have changed towards men over the years.

What makes a man sexy

60 years ago, looking through all the info I have found, I would have said it was all about the look. Being cool, the leader of the pack, a-Jack the lad type that charmed the ladies. 20-30 years ago I would say it was all about his body image. what abs were lurking beneath his shirt, the way he danced on the floor and his clean cut lines, but today it’s all about other things…

Yes, don’t get me wrong, its always nice to have someone who cares about his body, his look and is hygiene but other things are just as  important to ladies these days. I’ve been surfing the net for a few weeks now, trying to discover what makes a man sexy in today’s world. Well, it’s a mixed bag of things and it depends on the females age, no surprise there I hear you telling me.

Ok, Let me break it down for you, a lady aged 20 – 35 generally, this is what makes a man sexy to her –

1. Honesty is the top spot guys, She want to know that she can trust you always
2. Laughter, a man you who can make her laugh when she is feeling at her worst
3. Ambition, knowing where he’s going in life even if he’s 100 miles away from the goal
4. Eye contact, she wants your eyes to meet hers from across the room and when she talk to you
5. Confident, confidently applying himself to any situation that comes up not just in the bedroom
6. Old fashion values, Making her feel special, opening the door, pulling out a chair and surprising her with a bunch of flowers.

Ladies 35 plus see things differently and yes they still consider the above important but this is what makes a man sexy to them

1. Integrity, ladies what their man to do what he says he’s going to do and not just talk about it
2. The way he moves, with a straight back as he walks, an open posture when he sits and his eye contact when he talks
3. Groomed, ladies like their man to care about he’s appearance and his personal hygiene smelling good and looking good is super sexy
4. Confident, Being able to support his lady in her endeavours and still find time for the surprise of togetherness
5. Direction, having a purpose in life, a man who likes family values, likes animals and has hobbies and knows exactly where he is going in life
6. Intelligence, Women crave intelligence, they feel secure that their man knows how to lead. A very sexy quality in a man

Did these answers surprise you?

For me, it’s been a little bit difficult finding the answers to what makes a man sexy. When I was younger I had a type of man that I would always find attractive. Tall, dark, ruggedly handsome you know the type but as I’ve got older they aren’t so important. Yes, I still find the above sexy but there has to be more, more answers that aren’t so obvious and conventual.

I’ve been sat here asking myself this question for ages, thinking of the times when my breath was swept away, when my heart skipped a beat, the view of his shirt touching his body or the double take of someone when our paths crossed in a supermarket. Simply trying to establish what the combination is for me.

I have come to the conclusion for me, I find a man super sexy when he’s ruggedly groomed and smelling great, when he looks in my eyes when we chat with nothing to hide, a hand gesture as he catches a strand of my hair and places it behind my ear and the way his persona moves and oozes confidence with every step, A mans man…I find that all super sexy and leaves me wanting to know more.

He could have tatts, he could be bold he could be cubby or muscular he could be suited and booted or wearing jeans etc… but without that special combination the magic doesn’t happen.
