Last weekend before Christmas
Good morning,
It’s the last full weekend before the big day and you know it’s going to be manic out there on the roads and in the shops. There will always be a number of people who leave there gift buying and everything else, come to think of it, to the last minute.
No me, I always try and get myself sorted way before because who needs the added pressure, right!
Things change instantly when you receive a heart-warming call from a grandchild asking if you will take them Christmas Shopping. Of course you will always say yes, but then comes the instant dread of the last weekend before Christmas.
Just the thought of all those shopper and cars trying to squeeze into the same places as you will need to go, spikes the blood pressure off the rails.
We always say yes to our grandchildren, when ever we can, thats what being a grandparent is all about.
I will spend a precious day with my grandchildren, just me and them.
I will watch the Christmas magic start to unfold through their eyes, a day to cherish and another wonderful memory built.
Listen to me getting all sentimental lol
I’m still dreading the chaos that comes with the last weekend before Christmas.

If you’re out and about this weekend, I feel your pain… We just have to stay calm and carry on, after all, it is Christmas 🎄🤣.
