Top Tip – DIY
For one of those pesky jobs we always put off for another day.
Good Morning,
I mentioned in an earlier post that I was going to freshen up my bathroom with a drop of paint I found lurking in my shed.
Like all jobs, having the right tools and the preparation is key to a satisfactory outcome. Theres no point in painting my bathroom to make it look fresher when you have an eyesore staring back at you.
My chrome wall mounted radiator has seen better days with rust, something I inherited when I moved in. I always thought I would replace it when the bathroom suit was replace. Under current lockdown measures that now seems impossible so, I was scouring the net looking for ideas when I came across this. Apparently a trick of the trade and I thought I would give it ago after all, my radiator couldn’t look any worse.
My chrome wall mounted radiator, not looking it’s best
No expense needed as I have all of this already
A good rub down is needed
Tip, try and wear a pair of gloves or you could end up with hands like mine. Not a good look!
The finished article… Not perfect as I ran out of elbow grease but, not too bad and definitely better than before 😁
If I can do it, i’m sure anyone can have ago. Now to get on with my original task and that’s to paint my bathroom.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a good day.
