Good Morning Readers,
Well, it’s the weekend already! Omg it’s scary how time flies, it only feels like midweek…
My man eating spider decided to show it’s ugly face last night (I hope it was the same one). I had just come from the kitchen and pulled my legs up on the sofa to snuggle up when I saw the monster come from under my sofa. It was huge, I quickly grabbed my hover, the long arm part just incase it decided to jump a meter high lol It took a couple of seconds for the monster to let go and be sucked up by my Dyson.
Feeling relieved that the monster was now destroyed, at the back of my mind, I recalled reading an article years ago how spiders survived the gauntlet of the suction and filters of a hoover. Telling myself that my hoover is a Dyson, its powerful and it would be impossible for anything to survive the suction, filters and whirling motion. I had to check, because its a Dyson the rubbish is collected in a clear tank so you can see everything and I had emptied it earlier. I bent down to inspect and there it was, huge, legs splayed and ready to attack, yes alive. I didn’t think it would be possible but it was captured and my bed was calling.
This morning the first thing on my mind was to check to see if the monster was still there! Thank god it hadn’t turned into Houdini in the night and escaped… It’s still there “phew”
This past week has been a very difficult one for me, I had taken on 2 more courses, both virtual in real time and very demanding with case work to follow. Apologies to all of you who’ve phoned asking for appointments and I couldn’t accommodate you. I have learnt my lesson and won’t be doing that again anytime soon. It was just too demanding!
However, I did get to meet some clients whom I haven’t seen in ages this week, It was great to seem them again, fond memories of past encounters came to mind. I wish them well in their demanding endeavours.
When I replaced my single bed for an all singing and dancing Therapists couch a couple of weeks ago, the bed was removed and placed outside in-front of my house. I did ask in a future post if someone could help remove it and I would pay but I had some silly offers. I contacted my local council yesterday and they have agreed to remove 3 items for £45.50 within 5 working days. I think that an excellent service and price. At least my front garden won’t resemble Steptoes Yard any longer. 🤣
I’m afraid with everything thats gone on this week, I haven’t had chance to create the voucher for you, don’t worry, it’s on my todo list for this weekend. It will be making its first appearance in a post sometime next week.
