Monday – Live Life
Good morning readers,
Yep, It’s Monday again! I trust you all had a good weekend? Wasn’t it freezing though, I just can’t get moving when it’s sooooo cold 🥶
New website page
My weekend was a busy one. I’ve been trying to design & sort a new page for my site ” Erotica for Ladies”. I think a number of you tried to view it at embryonic stage. If you managed a peak preview, it’s now completely changed lol. I didn’t like it, it wasn’t edgy enough, so I scrapped it and started again. Fingers crossed you will see the page has class along with having a mature theme.
To be honest, I didn’t realise that you could see my work in progress. I then realised that I had accidental set it live. The thing is, I can create a new page but I don’t now just yet, how to put it where It needs to go. Sorry folks you will need to hang on a bit longer until my guy can do it for me.
Today being the 1st February, it’s the start of my new daily regime “Exercise”. I’ve waited until now to get my act together because always, when I start something on the 1st January, 9/10 I fail.
Failing isn’t in my vocabulary now, I have printed off some awful pictures of myself and stuck them on my fridge and the cupboard that contains the muffin top ingredients. No more lockdown binging is wanted or needed by this body and i’m sure i’m not alone lol!
I’m not brave enough just yet to show you my journey, but the intense regime I have set for myself will hopefully show the results i’m looking for.
I have set my target for 6 weeks, it will be tough but rewarding I hope.
I will keep a journal of my progress with pictures and if I become brave enough, I will share them with you. Now thats a scary thought, but it just might help someone else who’s suffering with a few extra inches achieve their goal!
Turn the workout music up high and go for it – Wish me luck!
Loosing touch with people
Overtime or as we grow, we tend to take different direction in life and this can result in loosing touch with friends or family. It’s never our intentions not to keep in-touch but so often this happens.
What with daily demands or a move to a completely different area or even a new country. Possibly a family feud or maybe a marriage can all play their part. Before you know it, a year has passed and it’s become increasingly difficult to pick up the phone to say hello.
I know this feeling only too well having moved and lived in a number of different countries, I always had good intentions and wonderful memories but life, finances and time would take their toll.
Trying too reconnect is very difficult and in a lot of cases impossible, I also know this first hand. Bumping into lost friends that have been lost for more that 20 years, swapping emails and sending emails only to never receive a reply. It’s probably to be expected, we have all changed and gone in different directions, it’s a very sad state of affairs.
This brings me to yesterday, I was goggling something when a name I recognised popped up. I clicked on the search and was shocked, stunned and hurt at what I was reading. A lost friends mothers obituary, she was like a second mum to me, a warm caring wonderful women who had time for everyone.
The point i’m trying to make is, her death wasn’t recent, she had passed 5 years ago and I had no idea! No one had bothered to find me to tell me. I’m not saying it’s their fault as i’m as guilty for not being in touch although my emails never received a reply. It’s just a sad situation that so many of us will discover as time goes bye.
Don’t make the same mistakes as me, if at first you don’t succeed keep trying. Life is too short and before you know it, life has changed forever.
Ok people, it’s time for me to crack on and dust off the treadmill
As always, take care of you and yours,
