Music
Good morning readers,
Yes, it’s Sunday morning again. A day to unwind and just go with the flow and see where it takes you.
Do you find that music changes your mood? I do… Sometimes I will be going about my day and I will hear a certain song and from nowhere, it will trigger a memory or feeling and it can be present or of years past.
Music is the key to me soul…
Here are a few sounds that have come to mind of late, I hope you enjoy.
Ed Sheeran
Thinking Out Loud, a song with beautifully written lyrics. For those of you who aren’t aware, Ed is a Suffolk man and living just up the road from me in Famlingham. A private man with such a talent and in the last week has just become a father at 29, Congratulations Ed and Cherry on the birth of their daughter. This song was a major part of a loving chapter of my life with a man with whom I thought, life doesn’t get any better than this. A truly loving and fulfilling love affair I thought could last a lifetime.
Gabrielle
Rise, released in 1999. born Louise Gabrielle in 1969 in London and growing up struggled with mental health. Rise is a song that I think most can relate to, one, if you’re like me, empowers you when things go wrong to heal.
Gregory Porter
Porter is an American singer-songwriter who performs vocal jazz records. He’s been active in the music scene since 2010 but has somehow kept a relatively low profile
It’s Probably me, originally sung by Sting who just happens to be sitting in the audience. A soulful rendition with the wow factor…
Have a great Sunday…
Take care of you and yours,
Sue x
